Position Overview
As a Psychologist at LifeStance Health, you will play a vital role in our expanding team, addressing the mental health needs of our clients and the community.

You will conduct assessments in an outpatient clinical environment, with intakes and feedback sessions available in person or via telehealth, depending on client and clinician preferences.

Collaboration and Responsibilities
You will have the chance to provide interdisciplinary care and work alongside other LifeStance professionals, including psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, psychologists, social workers, and therapists.

Your daily responsibilities will encompass:

  • Conducting assessments and intakes
  • Planning assessment protocols
  • Administering psychological evaluations
  • Interpreting assessment results
  • Documenting findings and creating reports
  • Providing feedback sessions and clarifying diagnoses
  • Developing treatment strategies

At your discretion, you may also incorporate psychotherapy into your caseload.

Ideal Candidate Profile
We are looking for Psychologists who:

  • Hold a Ph.D. or Psy.D. from an APA accredited doctoral program.
  • Are board certified or board eligible (ABPP, ABCN).
  • Possess full licensure in Virginia.
  • Have experience working with pediatric, adolescent, adult, and/or geriatric populations.
