We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Director of Operations to lead our branch office operations, including sales, business development, customer relationships, project management, and administration. Key Responsibilities- Operational Leadership: Manage overall P&L at office level to drive profitability by meeting or exceeding overall office sales, revenue, and EBITDA goals.
- Expense Management: Manage expenses to all established budgets, holding team accountable to job-specific, minimum target margins.
- Sales and Business Development: Support sales teams in developing new business opportunities by identifying and fostering professional trade partner relationships and referral channels.
- Project Management: Drive project schedules and revenue to ensure monthly revenue targets are met or exceeded.
- Human Resources: Responsible for supporting recruiting efforts by identifying and attracting top talent, while also ensuring employee development and retention.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Oversight of time-keeping and payroll management, as well as implementation of Federal, State, and local laws, including OSHA, IICRC, and MSDS sheets.
- Training and Development: Achieve training goals and minimum attendance as established by BluSky and adhere to all company best practices.
- Culture and Customer Experience: Lead and cultivate a positive office culture while always providing the highest level of customer service, ensuring exceptional customer experiences and satisfaction.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, business, or equivalent experience required.
- Experience: 5+ years insurance restoration experience preferred, 3+ years management experience preferred.
- Skills: Strong business development experience with a proven track record of success, ability to communicate effectively with clients, internal and external contacts throughout the project management process.
- Travel: Ability to attend business development networking functions as required and travel in response to project needs and leadership functions.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and social media platforms such as LinkedIn.
- Physical Demands: Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record, may occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
