Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement youth programs that cater to the needs of Catholic and Protestant youth, ensuring a sensitive and inclusive environment that respects diverse faith expressions.
  • Conduct or oversee Bible Study sessions for grades 6-12, creating engaging and interactive experiences that promote spiritual growth and development.
  • Design and implement mental, physical, social, and spiritual development activities for teens, focusing on fun, fellowship, and faith-building experiences that address relevant challenges.
  • Organize and lead at least one youth event per month, including outreach events and community service projects, that promote social responsibility and community engagement.
  • Provide training and development opportunities for volunteers, focusing on youth programming and leadership skills, to build effective leadership in age-appropriate groupings.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Youth Coordinator, with a proven track record of developing and implementing successful youth programs.
  • Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Windows and Office programs, to manage program data and communicate effectively.
  • Excellent organizational, written, verbal, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a military chapel setting.
  • Ability to develop and manage budgets, including multiple accounting line items, using Excel spreadsheets.
  • Clear and effective communication skills, with the ability to conduct administrative requirements in verbal and written clarity.
