Your Role

Position Overview:

The Senior CT Imaging Technologist plays a crucial role in supporting the Supervisor in managing the daily functions of the imaging department. This includes overseeing the performance of technologists, ensuring the maintenance of imaging equipment, and implementing quality assurance and cost-effective practices. The incumbent will foster collaborative relationships across various modalities and with all levels of staff and faculty. Proficiency in Computed Tomography (CT) is essential, along with the ability to maintain precise records of imaging procedures, coordinate patient transport, and communicate vital patient information with relevant departments while upholding strict confidentiality. The technologist will perform advanced CT imaging procedures on a regular basis, adhering to established protocols. Flexibility in scheduling, including participation in on-call duties, is required.

Required Qualifications:
  • Certification in Venipuncture
  • Participation in on-call rotation is mandatory
  • A minimum of five (5) years of recent experience in CT within an adult acute care setting
  • Graduation from an accredited AMA Radiologic Technology program
  • Fluoroscopy certification
  • Current Basic Life Support certification
  • CRT certification
  • Associate's Degree in Radiological Services
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Proficient in English communication, both written and verbal
  • Capacity to adapt and thrive in a dynamic work environment
  • Ability to manage workload effectively
  • ARRT certification in CT
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of relevant regulatory standards
  • Previous leadership experience
  • Bilingual capabilities for effective communication with patients and families
  • Bachelor's Degree in Radiological Sciences
