Your Role

Position Overview:

The Senior CT Imaging Technologist plays a pivotal role in supporting the Supervisor in managing the daily functions of the CT department. This includes overseeing technologists, maintaining imaging equipment, and ensuring adherence to quality and cost management standards. The incumbent will foster collaborative relationships across various modalities and with all levels of staff. Proficiency in the full spectrum of Computed Tomography (CT) is essential, along with the ability to maintain precise records of procedures, coordinate patient transport, and communicate vital patient information effectively while upholding strict confidentiality. The technologist will perform complex CT imaging procedures regularly, ensuring compliance with established protocols. Flexibility in scheduling, including participation in on-call duties, is required.

Essential Qualifications:
  • Certification in Venipuncture
  • Availability for on-call rotation
  • A minimum of five (5) years of recent experience in CT within an Adult Acute Care setting
  • Graduation from an accredited AMA Radiologic Technology program
  • Current Fluoroscopy license/certification
  • Basic Life Support Certification
  • CRT license/certification
  • Associate's Degree in Radiological Services
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Capacity to adapt to a dynamic work environment
  • ARRT-CT certification
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements
  • Previous leadership experience
  • Bilingual communication skills
  • Bachelor's Degree in Radiological Sciences
