UCI Medical Center is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for operating CT scanners and providing high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities- Operate CT scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures, including explaining the process and positioning them correctly
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols and guidelines
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest imaging technologies and techniques
- Competent in venipuncture or venipuncture certification
- CRT license/certification
- Fluoroscopy license/certification
- ARRT license/certification
- Current BLS certification
This is a full-time position with a 40-hour workweek. The schedule includes evenings, with every other weekend off. You will work Monday to Friday, with some flexibility to accommodate the needs of the department.
