Emergency Department Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team at Morrow County Hospital. As an Emergency Department Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care, work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team, and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Administer medications and treatments, including IV fluids, as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to life-saving situations as needed
- Document patient information accurately and thoroughly
- Supervise and mentor less experienced nurses and other healthcare staff
- Current RN license in Ohio
- Current CPR certification (including Neonatal Resuscitation)
- Current ACLS and PALS certification (must be obtained within 12 months of hire)
- Minimum 6 months experience in a med/surg unit or other equivalent setting preferred
- EMS experience a plus
