  • Responsible for implementing best practices to ensure student health and safety during international travel.
  • Manage the Student International Travel Registry and respond to crises in education abroad programs.
  • Supervise staff and collaborate with various university departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Travel Risk Management and Emergency Planning: Develop and implement strategies to mitigate risks associated with international travel, including emergency response planning and crisis management.
  • Incident Response and Compliance Management: Respond to incidents and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including reporting and documentation.
  • Information Systems and Data Development: Design and implement data systems to track student travel and health information, and develop reports to inform decision-making.
  • Program Administration: Oversee the administration of education abroad programs, including budgeting, scheduling, and logistics.
  • Special Projects and Representation: Participate in special projects and represent the university in various capacities, including supervising staff and collaborating with external partners.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Five years of experience in a related field, including two years of supervisory experience.
  • Experience living, working, studying, or traveling abroad.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a relevant field.
  • Knowledge of health and safety concerns in higher education.
