Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop engineering controls related to radiological, environmental, safety, and industrial hygiene.
  • Create work procedures and supporting documentation essential for tasks involving radioactive and/or nuclear materials.
  • Engage in fuel development, irradiation testing, and fleet support, alongside maintenance of radiological facilities and infrastructure.
  • Provide engineering support during work execution to ensure compliance with engineered work products.
  • Produce engineered drawings, sketches, containment designs, and safety controls to support complex projects.
  • May also involve developing plans and reports and conducting environmental characterization and investigation activities in line with regulatory programs.

Qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree in engineering or a science-related field from an accredited institution is required. A Master's degree in a similar field is also acceptable. Internship experience is preferred.
