Job Summary:

Penn State's College of Agricultural Sciences seeks a Facility Assistant to support daily activities at the Ag Progress Days site. The successful candidate will be responsible for mowing, painting, building clean-up, carpentry, equipment maintenance and operation, show set-up and clean-up, and other related tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Operate a motor vehicle as part of job duties
• Maintain a valid US driver's license and pass a motor vehicle records check
• Perform daily activities associated with the Ag Progress Days site, including mowing, painting, building clean-up, carpentry, equipment maintenance and operation, show set-up and clean-up, and other related tasks
• Ensure compliance with Penn State's policies and procedures

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Valid US driver's license and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check
• Ability to operate a motor vehicle safely and efficiently
• Physical ability to perform manual labor and lift heavy objects
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
