Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cage Supervisor to join our team at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Sacramento at Fire Mountain. As a key member of our gaming operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and secure operation of the cashier cages and miscellaneous count room on assigned shifts, while providing exceptional guest service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a positive and engaging atmosphere that encourages guests to make our hotel and casino their choice for gaming entertainment.
  • Lead and motivate a team of cage personnel to ensure they receive adequate guidance and resources to accomplish established job and department objectives.
  • Monitor and coordinate activities to maintain integrity of cage funds and ensure compliance with all Gaming/Lottery commission regulations and company policies.
  • Provide prompt, courteous, and friendly service to high-limit guests and ensure their needs are met.
  • Review relevant gaming regulations daily to ensure the cage is in compliance with all regulations.
  • Attend and participate in meetings, completing follow-up as assigned.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • 3 years' experience in cashiering or banking operations, or a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or a related field and 1 year closely related experience.
  • Must obtain and maintain valid licenses/certifications per Federal, State, and ERGC Gaming regulations.
  • Must successfully pass background check and drug screening.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must be able to work holidays and weekends, as well as flexible shifts and/or unusual hours.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience in the Gaming industry.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
