Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Public Safety Officer to join our team at the Answers in Genesis Group. As a Public Safety Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our properties and personnel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide security and safety services to the Answers in Genesis Group, including patrolling properties, responding to emergencies, and enforcing security policies.
  • Operate security equipment, including cameras, alarms, and access control systems.
  • Conduct investigations and gather evidence to support security and safety initiatives.
  • Develop and implement security protocols to prevent and respond to security threats.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement agencies and other external partners to ensure a safe and secure environment.
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on security and safety procedures.
  • Stay up-to-date with changing security threats and best practices to ensure the safety and security of our properties and personnel.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; undergraduate certificate or associate's degree in a security or public safety-related discipline preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in law enforcement, military, or private security.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Must agree with and be able to sign our Statement of Faith.
  • Maintains a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
  • Regular attendance at a local Bible-believing church.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in law enforcement or public safety/security-related industry.
  • Successfully complete initial fitness requirements and maintain them throughout employment.
  • Successfully complete initial firearm qualifications and maintain them throughout employment.
