Position Overview:

  • Accountable for the upkeep of the premises and facilities by executing fundamental repairs and performing preventative maintenance activities at the casino.
  • Assists skilled tradespeople in various disciplines such as landscaping, carpentry, painting, electrical systems, HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that landscaped areas are properly cared for.
  • Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance on machinery.
  • Provide support to Engineers II, III & IV as required.
  • Address routine service requests based on guest requirements.
  • Complete any additional tasks as directed.

Qualifications:

  • At least 6 months of experience in maintenance or a related area.

Certifications and Skills:

  • Possession of a valid driver's license is mandatory.
  • A gaming license/registration may be required depending on jurisdictional regulations.
  • Familiarity with general maintenance practices and various hand tools.
  • Must satisfy driving eligibility criteria as per the Casino's insurance policy.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Strong emphasis on customer service.
  • Able to work independently or collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Compliance with all policies and procedures, including attendance, appearance, safety, and security protocols.

Physical Demands:

  • Regularly required to see, hear, speak, use hands, stand, and walk.
  • Capability to handle various heights of ladders and lift up to 35 pounds occasionally.
  • Frequent bending, crouching, or kneeling may be necessary.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
