We are seeking a Chief Billing Operations Manager to join our team at Clear - Corporate. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for optimizing our credit card billing processes and ensuring they run smoothly and accurately 24/7/365.

This role will report directly to our VP of Finance and involve working closely with our merchant processor/subsciption billing vendor as well as issuers to ensure we receive best-in-class services and fees.

You will be accountable for:

  • Ensuring the accuracy of our credit card billing, refund, and chargeback processes
  • Optimizing customer billing including success rates, hard/soft decline retry processes, and card update processes
  • Owning the revenue-to-cash reconciliation process
  • Creating efficiencies through automation where possible
  • Developing executive reporting and analysis to aid in business optimization

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Accounting smarts and a solid foundation (6+ years) of industry experience
  • Experience in a tech/high-growth environment or subscription-based B2C model a plus
  • Advanced Excel / SQL experience with the demonstrated ability to analyze large data sets
  • Excellent analytical, communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills conducive to collaboration
