Job Overview

The Popal Group LLC is seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Manager to lead the recruitment process, manage employee relations, and ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the full cycle of the recruitment process, from posting job openings to onboarding new hires.
  • Conduct new employee orientation and ensure that all necessary paperwork is completed and filed appropriately.
  • Manage employee benefits program and communicate with employees regarding enrollment, changes, and questions.
  • Work with department managers to develop and implement training programs to ensure employee development and retention.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees on HR policies and procedures.
  • Address employee relations issues and conduct investigations as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal and state employment laws and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records and reports.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Human Resources, with a focus on the hospitality industry preferred.
  • PHR or SHRM certification preferred.
  • Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines including recruiting, talent management, training, compensation practices, performance management, culture development, employee and union relations, federal and state respective employment laws.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with tact and discretion.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.
