Senior Manager of Fire Protection Engineering and Operations

A leading fire protection engineering firm, Ignis Global Recruitment, seeks a seasoned Senior Manager to lead their Las Vegas operations. This role offers significant career advancement potential within a well-established and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Leadership (50%): Oversee and participate in high-stakes technical fire protection engineering projects, ensuring exceptional standards and regulatory compliance.
- Operations Management (25%): Manage day-to-day operations of the Las Vegas office, including supervision of three direct reports at junior to mid-intermediate levels.
- Business Development (25%): Drive business growth by cultivating new client relationships and expanding existing ones.
Leadership and Advancement Opportunities:
- Immediate leadership position with potential for advancement within 12 months.
- Chance to progress to regional director within three years and eventually ascend to a VP role.
- Collaborate with the finance manager to oversee the P&L for the Las Vegas office.
Requirements:
- Registered Fire Protection Engineer (PE) or Engineer in Training nearing PE certification.
- Mid to senior-level experience in fire protection engineering.
- Background in fire code consulting.
- Performance-based design and fire modeling experience is highly desirable.
- Proven track record of technical excellence and operational management.
- Strong potential for growth and leadership in the engineering field.
Benefits:
- The company covers the full cost of healthcare for employees.
- Performance-based bonuses are paid out twice a year, allowing employees control over their bonus determination. The bonus structure includes up to 10% of the salary distributed semi-annually, with occasional additional bonuses of up to $10,000.
- The company covers relocation expenses, including a relocation allowance ranging from $4,000 to $5,000.
- Support for initial remote work for a few months if necessary, with company-covered trips to Las Vegas to facilitate relocation.

Work Environment:
- Presence in the office every day is required, but flexible work arrangements are initially encouraged, with no immediate expectation for relocation.
Compensation: The base salary range for this position is between $120,000 and $170,000 USD, depending on experience and qualifications, with a bonus package that includes performance bonuses and a possible relocation allowance.
