Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Certified Surgical Technologist to join our team at Ascension. As a key member of our perioperative care team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient performance of surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare the operating room with sterile equipment and supplies, ensuring a safe and efficient environment for surgical procedures.
  • Assist surgeons and anesthesiologists during procedures, providing support and maintaining a sterile field.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of patient information, including medical history and surgical procedures.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Surgical Technology or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Current certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or Certified Surgical Assistant (CSA).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information.
