Job Summary

As the Director of Hotel Sales, you will be responsible for leading the sales department and driving revenue growth for the hotel. You will develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed hotel sales objectives, booking goals, and property revenues. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, sales teams, and hotel leadership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed hotel sales objectives, booking goals, and property revenues.
  • Lead and manage a team of sales associates to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, sales teams, and hotel leadership.
  • Collaborate with other hotel departments, such as marketing and revenue management, to drive revenue growth and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement sales training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of sales associates.
Requirements
  • 2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; 4 years experience in the sales and marketing or related professional area.
  • OR 4-year bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; 2 years experience in the sales and marketing or related professional area.
  • Preferred: 4 year college degree.
  • Demonstrated skills in supervising a team.
  • Lodging sales experience.
  • Hotel industry work experience, demonstrating progressive career growth and a pattern of exceptional performance.
