The Role:

As an Adjunct Nursing Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching, mentoring, and assessing students in our nursing programs. You will work closely with our faculty and staff to develop and implement curriculum that aligns with industry standards and best practices.

What You Bring:

Nursing Expertise: A minimum of two years of recent experience in nursing, with a passion for staying abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and methodologies.

Requirements:

Qualifications: A current Florida RN licensure and a minimum of two years recent experience for all nursing programs.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements: Specific credentials and experience are required for each nursing program, including Nursing Assistant/Patient Care Assistant, Practical Nursing, Associate Degree in Nursing, and Bachelor of Science in Nursing.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities: Preparing, instructing, and grading all class coursework, assigning final grades, and adhering to the guidelines of Indian River State College, Florida Board of Nursing, and the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN).

Physical Requirements: The ability to move from room to room, maneuver in small spaces, and possess a high degree of flexibility, auditory, visual, and tactile abilities, and sufficient stamina to provide patient care and related responsibilities for extended periods of time.
