Job Description and Duties

Under the direction of the Area Construction Senior Transportation Engineer, the incumbent performs various landscape architecture and transportation-related tasks as required, ensuring the work is performed in conformance with the project's Contract Plans, special Provisions, Standard Plans, and Specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform landscape architecture and transportation-related tasks as required.
  • Ensure work is performed in conformance with project specifications.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to achieve project goals.
  • Apply experience and education to construction engineering and contract compliance principles.
  • Identify problems and use logical analysis to find information to provide sound engineering recommendations.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with contractors and team members.
  • Work productively with contractors to enforce contract documents and resolve conflicts.
Requirements
  • Possession of a valid driver's license is required when operating a State-owned or leased vehicle.
  • Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) is required. Failure to submit a SOQ will disqualify candidates from the hiring process.
