Your Role:
The Occasion's Group, a subsidiary of Taylor Corporation, is in search of a Systems Business Analyst to provide support across various locations remotely.

Your Duties:

  • Collaborate with business leaders and team members to gather and articulate business and functional requirements.
  • Develop comprehensive specifications that align business objectives with operational and production capabilities.
  • Provide valuable insights to organizations to help them understand the broader scope of projects.
  • Partner with technical leaders to outline project tasks and establish timelines.
  • Assess and determine the business value of upcoming projects.
  • Assist project teams in defining overall project objectives, strategies for achievement, and maintaining timelines.
  • Manage, create, and execute testing scenarios and cases.
  • Ensure project outcomes are met - validate that project requirements have been fulfilled.
  • Communicate project progress to IT and business stakeholders.
  • Follow up on project successes and challenges for continuous improvement. Stay informed about corporate technology and initiatives to align with corporate direction and leverage existing resources/solutions.
  • Be attentive to technology and features requested by customers and end users, and relay this information to IT leadership and teams.

Essential Qualifications:
* Minimum of 2 years of experience in the IT sector.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong attention to technical details, organization, and initiative.
  • Solid business acumen and analytical capabilities.
  • Familiarity with designing and developing business processes and their connections to technology.
  • Ability to comprehend and convey complex business processes.
  • Capacity to collaborate with a diverse group of individuals in a remote, fast-paced setting.
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) - ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Energetic, self-driven, and deadline-oriented team player who is open to presenting new ideas. Seeks a role within a team that values productivity while enjoying the process. Aspires to be part of a team that fosters respect and achieves success in the marketplace.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in computer science, project management, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of database systems.
  • Previous experience with ERP systems and/or the printing industry is advantageous.
