Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Measurement Technician II to join our team supporting the Gulf of Mexico Measurement operations. This position operates on a 14 on/14 off schedule, ensuring a balanced work-life experience.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Acting as an individual contributor for one or more assets.
  • Complying with regulatory requirements for custody transfer meters.
  • Adhering to contractual obligations for production allocation meters.
  • Overseeing compliance with regulatory and contractual standards.
  • Implementing Company Standard Measurement Procedures and industry best practices.
  • Conducting calibrations of traditional measurement equipment and completing necessary calibration reports.
  • Managing oil and gas sample collection, shipping, tracking, and analysis.
  • Performing repairs, refurbishments, or replacements of measurement equipment.
  • Installing, maintaining, and repairing gas and liquid samplers.
Required Skills and Experience

To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:

  • 2-5 years of experience as a Measurement Technician.
  • A solid understanding of oil and gas flow computer setup and usage.
  • Basic knowledge of the following equipment:
    • C6+ Gas Chromatographs
    • Multiphase Meters
    • Ultrasonic Meters
    • Mass Thermal Meters
    • Coriolis Meters
Preferred Qualifications

While not mandatory, the following qualifications are advantageous:

  • Certification as Shell Proficient.
