Position Overview:
Summit Medical Group is currently seeking a dedicated Registered Ultrasound Specialist to provide exceptional diagnostic imaging services. This is a full-time mobile role, requiring travel to various physician offices within the community. While experience in echocardiography is advantageous, it is not a prerequisite.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct ultrasound examinations on all scheduled patients with precision and care.
  • Adhere to established imaging protocols to ensure reliable and accurate diagnostic results.
  • Provide compassionate patient care, ensuring comfort and addressing individual needs.
  • Comply with organizational policies and procedures, including ACR accreditation standards, OSHA regulations, and corporate compliance guidelines.
  • Adapt to changing workflow demands, seeking assistance from colleagues or supervisors when necessary.
  • Maintain quality control of ultrasound equipment and report any issues promptly.
  • Manage inventory of supplies, ensuring availability as per supervisor requests.
  • Keep accurate logs and records, including patient results and equipment maintenance.
  • Assist in various departments during periods of low activity.
  • Exhibit professionalism and cooperation in all interactions with staff and patients.
  • Maintain current CPR certification and fulfill ongoing education requirements relevant to the position.
  • Uphold strict confidentiality standards in all aspects of work.
  • Perform additional tasks as directed by the supervisor.

Qualifications:
Education:
A high school diploma or equivalent, along with completion of required ultrasound technology courses.

Experience:
A minimum of two years in ultrasound imaging is preferred. Experience in echocardiography is beneficial but not mandatory.

Certification:
RDMS certification is required.
