Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at Outpatient Imaging Affiliates. As a key member of our imaging center team, you will be responsible for performing sonographic procedures and ensuring a safe and efficient environment for our patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform sonographic procedures at the request of and for interpretation by a licensed independent practitioner.
  • Ensure services are performed in a safe environment in accordance with established guidelines and regulatory requirements.
  • Serve as part of the imaging center team and seek feedback for improved clinical practice.
Requirements:
  • 1-3 years' experience as a licensed Sonographer with Vascular experience, must be RVT or CCI registered.
  • Must be a graduate of an approved program of diagnostic sonography and registered in vascular ultrasound.
Skills and Abilities:
  • Skill in operation of Sonography equipment as well as applicable ancillary equipment.
  • Ability to work independently and multitask.
  • Ability to provide documentation accurately and concisely.
  • Demonstrates understanding of human cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, pathology, radiopharmacology, and medical terminology.
  • Knowledge of computer applications, including information and billing systems, keyboard input, digital archiving, and retrieving of data.
