Additionally, you will model and demonstrate exceptional customer service standards, provide supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates, and control the unexplained loss of merchandise and improve profitability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure effective merchandise presentation, including accurate and competitive pricing, proper signing, inventory levels, and cleanliness of the area.
  • Assess economic trends and community needs to drive sales and improve profitability.
  • Oversee the stocking and rotation of merchandise to ensure optimal inventory levels and minimize losses.
  • Lead and develop teams effectively by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates.
  • Model and demonstrate exceptional customer service standards to store associates.
  • Provide supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates, including hiring, training, and mentoring.
  • Control the unexplained loss of merchandise and improve profitability by identifying and communicating performance goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Completion of 2 years of college or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • 1 year's experience as a supervisor in a multi-department environment or 1 year's experience in accounting, claims, inventory control, systems/UPC, personnel, or loss prevention/asset protection in a multi-department environment.
  • Successful completion of any applicable state requirements to work in asset protection.
  • Associates will be required to attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University.
  • Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University.
  • Certification in an asset protection related field, such as Loss Prevention Qualified or Loss Prevention Certified.
  • General work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
  • Investigative experience.
