The CT Imaging Specialist I is responsible for conducting computerized tomography procedures essential for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes. This role requires a high level of independent judgment, creativity, and initiative.
Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
Completion of Radiologic Technology training from a CAHEA accredited institution, fulfilling the criteria for registry by the ARRT is mandatory. A minimum of one year of experience in the role of a radiologic technologist is preferred.
Motor Vehicle Operator Designation:
Individuals in this role will not be required to operate vehicles for business-related purposes.
Licensure/Certification/Registration:
- Must possess registration from the ARRT.
- A valid license from the State of Florida as a certified Radiologic Technologist is required.
- Successful completion of the ARRT advanced examination for CT certification is expected within the first year of employment as a CT Imaging Specialist.
- Current BLS certification is also necessary.
