Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Laundry Attendant to join our team at Pyramid Global Hospitality. As a Laundry Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and quality in our laundry operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain laundry equipment, including washing and drying machines, to ensure efficient and effective processing of linens.
  • Load and unload laundry from machines, and monitor feeder information to ensure optimal performance.
  • Measure and administer cleaning agents to laundry according to product specifications, and monitor the quality of the finished product.
  • Pre-sort and separate linen by classification, and transfer to workstations for processing.
  • Run folding equipment to fold mats, blankets, towels, bedspreads, and other linens, and separate out items requiring mending or special stain removal.
  • Clean empty hampers, and stock linen rooms with cleaned product.
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
  • None required, laundry experience preferred.
  • Basic ability to comprehend English language sufficient to understand information such as safety labels and instructions.
Working Conditions

The hotel functions seven days a week and twenty-four hours a day. All employees, both management and hourly, must realize this fact and be aware that at times it may be necessary to move an employee from their accustomed shift as business demands.
