Parking Attendant Job Description

As a Parking Attendant at AccorHotel, you will play a vital role in ensuring the satisfaction and comfort of our guests. Under the supervision of the Guest Services Manager/Rooms Manager, you will provide porter and valet services, responding promptly and courteously to guest requests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clean and maintain the lobby areas and entrances to present a clean and attractive facility to our customers.
  • Assist other employees and departments to contribute to the best overall performance of the department and hotel.
  • Provide exceptional service to arriving guests, assisting with luggage and parking their vehicles.
  • Assist departing guests by transporting luggage from room to lobby and helping with departure.
  • Respond to guest needs by delivering items such as laundry, newspapers, and ironing boards.
  • Provide information about hotel services and local activities to enhance customer relations.
  • Maintain a friendly, cheerful, and courteous demeanor at all times.
Requirements:
  • Must be able to drive vehicles with manual and automatic transmissions.
  • Able to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
  • Responsible, dependable, and punctual.
  • Tactful, courteous, and discreet.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to speak and understand English.
  • Clean and professional appearance.
  • Demonstrates enthusiasm for all things 21c.
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver's license.
  • Must pass a background check.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
Education and Experience:
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • At least two years of driving experience with a clean driving record.
Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to operate two and four-wheeled luggage carts and standard office equipment.
  • Must be able to lift luggage up to 70 lbs.
  • Capable of prolonged standing, walking, and climbing stairs.
