Job Summary

We're seeking a skilled Power Central Office Technician to maintain and repair our telecommunications equipment in our central offices. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation of our network and providing unparalleled service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operating and maintaining legacy and next-generation local and toll switching technology, data networks, and computer processing equipment.
  • Performing system and equipment installations, acceptance testing, initialization, upgrades, and reconfigurations.
  • Analyzing and troubleshooting software programs for network device configuration and control.
  • Ensuring daily backups and routine monitoring of switches, computer systems, and data networks.
  • Troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing power systems and equipment.
  • Working in a fast-paced environment with varying shifts and schedules.
Requirements
  • Valid state driver's license and a satisfactory driving record.
  • Related Associate Degree or 2+ years of relevant work experience.
