Job Title: Principal Cloud Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Cloud Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our cloud infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure on AWS.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement highly secure and scalable cloud solutions on AWS.
  • Develop and maintain reusable CloudFormation templates and Terraform modules.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine standards and guidelines for cloud technologies.
  • Evaluate new technologies and develop documentation and standards for future use.
  • Implement security strategies with our InfoSec and Cloud Architecture teams.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience with AWS, Linux, and Windows, and strong experience implementing security guidelines.
  • Solid knowledge of scripting languages such as CloudFormation, Terraform, Serverless, PowerShell, Python, or equivalent.
  • Ability to lead projects, think creatively, and devise solutions for complex problems.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • AWS Transit Gateway experience with Aviatrix Cloud Network Platform or similar.
  • AWS Security experience leveraging security groups, NACLs, etc.
  • Palo Alto Firewall Administration within an AWS environment or equivalent.
  • AWS Direct Connect experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of VPCs, subnets, routing tables, and virtual interfaces.
