Job Overview:
The Sales Coordinator will assist management in various aspects of the sales and service process. This includes managing correspondence, handling inquiries, and ensuring smooth communication within the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle booking inquiries through phone communication and prepare necessary documentation.
- Utilize various software applications to create correspondence, forms, and other essential documents.
- Respond to incoming calls in a professional and courteous manner, directing inquiries appropriately.
- Accurately record and relay messages to relevant staff members in a timely fashion.
- Organize and distribute printed materials to ensure efficient processing of important information.
- Maintain organized records and files to support departmental operations.
- Assist with mail distribution and documentation throughout the organization.
- Support other team members during their absence by managing phone calls and inquiries.
- Perform additional related duties as assigned.
Expectations:
Regular attendance and adherence to established standards are crucial for success in this role. Due to the nature of the hospitality industry, flexibility in scheduling may be required, including evenings and weekends.
Qualifications:
Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Experience: Previous experience in a hotel or administrative support role is advantageous.
Skills:
Proficient in basic secretarial tasks, excellent communication skills, and familiarity with Microsoft Word are essential. The ability to engage effectively with clients and colleagues is critical.
