About the Role
This position is integral to the Corporate Accounting Statutory Legal Entity Lifecycle team, which offers support and guidance throughout the entire lifecycle of Microsoft’s international entities, from inception to dissolution.

Core Responsibilities
- Oversee and ensure compliance with international statutory filing requirements across all Microsoft subsidiaries worldwide.
- Collaborate effectively with key stakeholders, including Legal, Tax, Treasury, Finance Operations, and external auditors to address subsidiary-related issues.
- Generate and share monthly compliance metrics and reports for business stakeholders.
- Prepare materials for monthly Statutory Compliance Monitoring Committee meetings and quarterly global statutory community gatherings.
- Provide expert guidance on Microsoft’s Statutory Compliance policies and processes to all relevant parties.
- Organize and lead training sessions for the Statutory Controller Community.
- Assist in the enhancement of statutory tools, including user acceptance testing and community training.
- Handle ad hoc requests and special projects to support legal entity lifecycle initiatives.

Qualifications
Required:
- Master’s Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field with at least 1 year of relevant experience, or
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or
- Equivalent professional experience.
Preferred:
- Professional accounting certification such as CPA or equivalent.
- Master’s Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field with 3+ years of relevant experience, or
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field with 5+ years of relevant experience, or
- Equivalent professional experience.

Compensation
The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $75,100 - $148,900 per year, with variations based on specific work locations.
