Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at IU Health Bedford Hospital. As a Travel CT Technologist, you will be responsible for operating computed tomography (CT) scanners to produce high-quality images of the body for diagnostic purposes.

Responsibilities
  • Operate CT scanners to produce high-quality images of the body for diagnostic purposes
  • Position patients correctly to ensure accurate and safe imaging procedures
  • Administer contrast media as needed to enhance image quality
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient imaging procedures and results
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure high-quality patient care and safety
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
  • Current ARRT certification in Computed Tomography (CT)
  • 2+ years of experience as a CT Technologist in a hospital setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Work Environment

As a Travel CT Technologist at IU Health Bedford Hospital, you will work in a busy critical access hospital setting, servicing the Emergency Department, Intensive Care Unit, Medical/Surgical units, and Outpatient clinics. You will be responsible for operating CT scanners to produce high-quality images of the body for diagnostic purposes.
