Job Overview

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central New Mexico is seeking a Program Development Specialist in Roswell, NM.

Salary: $60,000/year

Job Responsibilities
  • Conduct volunteer and client enrollments, including interviews, orientations, assessments, training, and any other enrollment processes.
  • Apply child safety and risk management knowledge, policies, and procedures throughout all aspects of job function; Identify child safety issues for volunteers, children, and their families.
  • Develop, promote, and implement individual and group match activities to support ongoing volunteer involvement with the child and agency affiliation through individualized recognition, annual events, and reengagement strategies.
  • Work proactively with Site Director on a continual basis to ensure that successful matches made are successful matches retained.
  • Promote the Mission, Vision, Values & Messaging of BBBS.
Requirements
  • Strong people skills and the ability to sell and engage the BBBS Vision, Mission, Values, and messaging to diverse community members, potential donors, and partners.
  • Excellent time management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Effective verbal and written communication, interpersonal, customer service, and sales skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and delegate tasks.
  • Ability to function in a high-paced and, at times, stressful environment.
