We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Support Specialist to join our Family Medicine team at Lovelace Regional Hospital in Roswell, NM. This is a day shift, full-time position that requires strong clinical and administrative skills to support the delivery of effective patient care.

Job Summary

The Clinical Support Specialist will perform both clinical and administrative duties, including greeting patients, taking vitals, and ensuring compliance with medical regulations. This role is ideal for a motivated individual with a passion for healthcare who wants to make a difference in the lives of our patients.

About the Role
  • Greet patients, escort them to exam rooms, and perform vitals and other related duties
  • Demonstrate knowledge of medical practice and patient care as it relates to the clinical setting and medical specialty
  • Adhere to policies and procedures and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • One year of recent experience working in a medical facility performing Medical Assistant duties or equivalent; OR, recent graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant program
  • Maintain BLS certification; and, if required, maintain training in venipuncture
