Production Supervisor

Butterball, LLC, a leading manufacturer of turkey products, is seeking a skilled Debone Supervisor to join our team in the Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina area. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for overseeing the deboning process, ensuring high-quality products, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and direct the work of production associates to meet production needs and ensure efficient operation of the debone department.
- Develop and maintain positive associate relations, train and develop skills, and ensure compliance with facility safety rules and company policies.
- Prepare work schedules, monitor and record employee attendance and performance, and prepare daily accounting reports related to production.
- Identify equipment problems and schedule repairs with maintenance personnel, maintain optimum line speeds, and ensure proficient yields.
- Report staffing, morale, work methods, and procedure problems to the department superintendent and perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business Management or related field or equivalent training and experience.
- Two years of experience in a poultry processing facility, preferably in a leadership role.
- Working knowledge of plant standard operating procedures, understanding of USDA policies and procedures, and basic math and writing skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, communicate effectively, and facilitate the operation of the debone department.
The Debone Supervisor will spend approximately 70% of their time in a manufacturing environment, which is cold and wet, and 30% in a controlled office environment.
