Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Bioinformatics Engineer to join our team as we continue to grow and innovate. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in developing reliable production-grade bioinformatics pipelines to leverage genomics and health information.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and maintain efficient bioinformatics pipelines and workflows
  • Contribute to the back-end aspects of our project, ensuring seamless integration and functionality
  • Collaborate on computing infrastructure development
  • Effectively communicate complex bioinformatics concepts to team members with diverse backgrounds
Qualifications
  • M.S./Ph.D. in a relevant field
  • Experience with Nextflow/Snakemake
  • Excellent Python programming skills
  • Proficiency in Linux/Unix and cloud computing
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with modern software development methodologies
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic startup environment
Compensation

The compensation package for this role is highly competitive, ranging from $135,000 to $150,000.
