Job Description

Lockheed Martin Corporation is seeking a highly motivated Procurement Supplier Quality Engineer to support the Stratford, Ct Aerostructures product center.

This position requires ~25% travel and the person will be stationed in the Stratford, Ct facility. The successful candidate will have a direct impact in the development and implementation of quality planning and investigation of supplier products to drive root cause and corrective action, Scrap, Rework and Successful candidate will effectively contribute to the product center supplier quality engineering team in support of the Center Corrective Action Board (CCAB), High Visibility (Hi-Vis) escape management process, and data analysis to identify developing trends and maintaining product center key quality metrics.

Promote continuous improvement through effective use of Six Sigma Lean manufacturing tools, along with Relentless Root Cause Analysis and DIVE to eliminate discrepancies and escapes. Implement standard work for key processes and support all initiatives for the assigned Product Center. Additional responsibilities include support of the Material Review Board, Quality Council as well as Product Safety and EH&S initiatives.

The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 per year, based on industry standards and location.
