About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Specialist to join our team at Dansources Technical Services. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for planning and executing precision machining operations using state-of-the-art equipment.

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will have experience working with CNC machines, including vertical machining centers and lathes. You will be required to set up and operate these machines to produce high-quality parts and tools for research engineers in a developmental laboratory environment.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining accurate records of work performed and quality control measures

  • Collaborating with colleagues to resolve any issues related to machine settings, tooling, or product specifications

  • Performing precision work to exacting tolerances and dimensions

  • Monitoring and verifying quality in accordance with statistical process control procedures

Requirements and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in manufacturing or a related field

  • Experience with CNC machines, including setup and operation

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

  • Familiarity with Mastercam software and ability to learn new programming languages

Salary Information:

The estimated salary for this position is between $60,000-$80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. This is a full-time position with a 4/10 schedule on the first shift. There may be opportunities for advancement or conversion to a full-time position based on client metrics.
