Position Overview: Rental Sales Specialist
Your primary responsibility will be to take proactive measures to secure and enhance market share and rental volume within a designated sales region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Efficiently organize time and resources to maximize productivity.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of marketing and financing options, preparing detailed quotations that highlight features, benefits, and available financing solutions.
- Continuously enhance product knowledge through training programs and self-directed learning.
- Improve interpersonal and sales capabilities through ongoing education and practice.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, identifying their needs and the best solutions to meet them.
- Stay informed about competitors' machinery, financing, and marketing strategies.
- Act as a liaison between Kirby-Smith Machinery and clients, ensuring exceptional customer service.
- Follow up diligently to ensure all sales and rental processes are executed accurately and timely.
- Complete all necessary documentation with precision and punctuality.
- Ensure all contracts and transactions are conducted with integrity and professionalism.
- Identify and profile potential clients in the territory, expanding the customer base.
- Maintain open communication with management regarding any changes in the sales territory.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of three years of experience in construction equipment sales.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- High school diploma required; additional post-secondary education preferred.
- Self-motivated with effective time management skills.
- Intermediate computer skills, including proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
