About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Surgical Technologist to join our team at Baylor Scott & White Surgicare Rockwall. As a key member of our surgical team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain a sterile field during surgical procedures, ensuring the highest level of patient safety.
  • Assist the surgical team in maintaining a clean and organized operating room environment.
  • Participate in pre-operative and intra-operative sponge, needle, and instrument counts to ensure accuracy and patient safety.
  • Assist in gathering and preparing necessary surgical supplies and equipment.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless communication and coordination during procedures.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of a scrub technician program.
  • A CST license.
  • At least two years of experience as a scrub tech in multiple specialties or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
