Up to $10,000 Sign-On bonus for experienced Certified Surgical Tech Summary

The Certified Surgical Technician demonstrates expertise in the scrub role, providing assistance during surgical procedures performed in the department.

Responsibilities
  • The Certified Surgical Technician is responsible for maintaining aseptic technique, setting up equipment, instrumentation, and sterile supplies as needed for assigned cases.
  • Scrubbing and passing instruments and equipment during surgical procedures.
  • Pulling cases as needed, breaking down cases at the end of the procedure, setting up the operating room and supplies needed for the day/following day's schedule.
  • Available for call on an assigned/scheduled basis as required by unit need.
  • The Certified Surgical Tech performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Education: Graduate of a CAAHEP accredited program.
  • Experience: Preferred: 1 year.
  • Certifications: Required: BLS. Surgical Technology Certification.
