Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Credit Specialist to join our N C Machinery Alaska Credit Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting our operations from our Anchorage office and working closely with our customers to resolve problems and develop functional skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Call on customers to collect accounts receivables and provide financing support as needed.
  • Approve open accounts in accordance with Company policy and procedures.
  • Research and gather information to make sound credit decisions and recommendations to the Regional Credit Manager.
  • File pre-lien notices on accounts as required by Company policy.
  • Reconcile customer accounts and address concerns with internal and external customers.
  • Partner with internal customers on credit questions, procedures, or disputes.
Requirements
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and web-based credit search programs.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
  • Previous credit/collection experience, particularly with lien experience, is highly valued.
  • Experience with Caterpillar Dealership or equivalent industry is a plus.
  • Proven excellent customer service skills and a strong work ethic.
  • Self-directed, independent, and a team player with strong initiative.
  • High attention to detail with effective decision-making and problem-solving skills.
