Job Title: Regional Credit Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Credit Specialist to join our N C Machinery Alaska Credit Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting our operations from our Anchorage office.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Call on customers to collect accounts receivables in a timely and professional manner.
  • Provide financing support to the credit manager as needed.
  • Approve open accounts in accordance with company policy and procedures.
  • Research and gather additional information to make sound credit decisions and recommendations to the Regional Credit Manager.
  • File pre-lien notices on accounts as required by company policy.
  • Reconcile customer accounts and address concerns with internal and external customers.
  • Partner with internal customers to resolve credit questions, procedures, or disputes.
Requirements:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and web-based credit search programs (Experian or Equifax).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
  • Previous credit/collection experience and lien experience will be beneficial.
  • Previous experience with Caterpillar Dealership or equivalent industry is a plus.
  • Proven excellent customer service skills and a strong work ethic.
  • Self-directed, independent, and a team player with strong initiative.
  • High attention to detail with effective decision-making and problem-solving skills.
