Position Overview

As a Clinical Care Specialist at Sollis Health, you will deliver premium emergency and urgent medical services to both adult and pediatric patients within our facilities, under the guidance of a Physician or Advanced Care Provider.

Work Schedule: Per Diem - 7 AM to 7 PM

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather comprehensive medical histories, assess patient vital signs, and prioritize care effectively.
  • Execute medical tasks such as establishing IV access, performing phlebotomy, administering vaccinations, conducting point-of-care rapid tests, delivering IV medications and fluids, and executing EKGs.
  • Actively participate in the patient care team, assisting with care within the defined scope of practice.
  • Record patient data in Sollis' electronic health record system and within Salesforce for our membership team.
  • Manage and monitor medication inventory.
  • Facilitate additional care coordination with our Aftercare and house call teams or with one of our Medical Partners.
  • Collaborate closely with clinical team members to ensure adherence to all policies and deliver high-quality care in an innovative environment.
  • Ensure patient comfort by addressing their inquiries with patience and professionalism, utilizing empathetic communication at all times.
  • Participate in house calls when requested.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

We value diverse backgrounds and experiences, but ideally, candidates should possess:

  • A degree from an accredited School of Nursing, with either an Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
  • A valid license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York.
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications upon hire.
  • A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in emergency or urgent care settings.

  • Proficiency with technology and the ability to learn various systems, including but not limited to Slack, Athena Health, Salesforce, and Humanity.
  • Exceptional technical skills, particularly in phlebotomy, peripheral IV placement, and medication administration.
  • Adaptability to work in a dynamic, multitasking environment.
  • Strong organizational and process-oriented skills.
  • Problem-solving capabilities and innovative thinking.
  • Comfort in interacting with high-profile clients.
