About the Role

This is a crucial position within our organization, focusing on providing Protestant religious education services to adults, youth, and children throughout the year. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating various programs, including a summer program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Protestant religious education services to diverse age groups.
  • Assist in recruiting volunteers, such as teachers and assistants, and coordinate their training with the Lead Faith Group Chaplain.
  • Organize volunteer teacher training events, aiming for a minimum of two per year.
  • Plan and execute special workshops for unique programs, like musicals or holiday events.
  • Serve as a Program Leader during semi-annual financial working group meetings.
  • Coordinate an annual event to recognize and honor volunteers, working closely with chapel personnel.
Requirements
  • Must have 2 years of experience in administration, program coordination, education, Bible studies, volunteer work, or customer service.
  • Prioritized preference for 2 years of verified religious work experience.
  • Familiarity with basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required; a Bachelor's degree in religious studies, education, or social science preferred.
  • At least two professional references with knowledge of previous work as a religious education coordinator or teacher.
Compensation

Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.
