Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team at Sigma Healthcare. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality physical therapy services to patients under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.

Job Description
  • Under the Direction of a Licensed PT: Optimize functional abilities and skills of patients by assisting in screening, providing input to initial evaluation, and implementing treatment for assigned patients.
  • Provide Supervision: Directly supervise rehab techs in tasks during group and individual treatment, promoting resource utilization and enhancing patient care quality.
  • Clinical Expertise: Participate in integrating physical therapy's role into facility and interdisciplinary treatment plans, enhancing clinical expertise, professional, and management skills through self-study and continuing education activities.
Requirements
  • Clinical Problem-Solving Skills: Identify and prioritize issues, develop sound action plans, execute on a timely basis, and ensure appropriate results.
  • Licensure and Certification: Graduate of an APTA-accredited school of physical therapy and valid Physical Therapy Assistant state license (where applicable).
  • Technical Skills: Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic internet navigation skills.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401(k) matching and paid time off.
