Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our team at Bruckner Truck Sales, Inc. As a key member of our parts department, you will be responsible for receiving and shipping parts, loading and unloading shipments, and performing duties necessary for the smooth operation of the parts department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verify and record incoming and outgoing shipments
  • Compare information to verify accuracy against bills of lading, invoices, and other records
  • Determine the best method of shipment using knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and rates
  • Unpack and examine incoming shipments, rejecting damaged items and recording shortages
  • Operate forklift trucks or hand trucks to move shipments from the shipping and receiving platform to storage or work areas
  • Change bin locations on parts when moving from one location to another
  • Work closely with inventory clerks to ensure accurate bin locations and proper routing of warranty parts and core returns
Requirements
  • High school diploma required; minimum 2 years experience in heavy duty truck parts, automotive parts, or retail warehousing
  • Ability to read and write English
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
