Transform Business with AI

Slalom's East Shared and Emerging team is seeking an AI Strategist to drive the integration of artificial intelligence into business strategies. As a key member of our team, you will guide clients through complex AI/ML strategies, focusing on industry-specific challenges in data privacy and security. This role requires a strong blend of technical and business acumen, leveraging advanced AI technologies to create impactful solutions and articulate their benefits to senior executives in a dynamic, multidisciplinary environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop AI/ML strategies and solutions for clients, including Generative AI, Natural Language Processing, and Computer Visioning.
  • Lead business development activities to grow the East AI team, identifying opportunities and selling services to new and existing clients.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry vocabulary, current regulatory and compliance context, associated with data privacy, security, and ethical considerations.
  • Establish market awareness and thought leadership around AI capabilities within the industry vertical.
  • Collaborate with partner vertical leaders to develop joint thought leadership, GTM strategies, and events, as well as participate in vertical account team planning and QBRs.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience leading the development of AI/ML strategies and solutions.
  • 10+ years of total professional experience in data & analytics, software engineering, or another relevant technical field.
  • Experience acquiring new clients and generating revenue of $2.5M+ to an organization.
  • Deep industry experience, preferably in Lifesciences & Healthcare.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to articulate AI benefits to senior executives.
  • Strong collaborator who enjoys working in a multi-discipline environment to develop comprehensive and effective AI strategies and solutions.
  • Thought leader on the potential of AI and the challenges and limitations of real-world AI implementations.
  • Comfortable dealing with ambiguity and rapid change.

Compensation and Benefits

Slalom prides itself on helping team members thrive in their work and life. Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. This position is eligible to hire in multiple locations across the East Coast, and at two levels (Senior Principal and Director). In New York, the base salary pay range for the Senior Principal level role is $167,000 to $258,000. In New York, the base salary pay range for the Director level role is $192,000 to $307,000. In New Jersey, the base salary pay range for the Senior Principal level role is $153,000 to $237,000. In New Jersey, the base salary pay range for the Director level role is $175,000 to $281,000. In Connecticut, the base salary pay range for the Senior Principal level role is $140,000 to $217,000. In Connecticut, the base salary pay range for the Director level role is $161,000 to $258,000. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors.
