About the Role

Ciena Healthcare is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in providing high-quality patient care and rehabilitation services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, coordinate, and provide nursing care services and health education to patients in a long-term care setting.
  • Supervise the care and services provided by Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and other team members.
  • Provide safe and accurate medication-related interventions to patients.
  • Assess patient health and notify physicians of changes in status, promptly implementing new orders.
  • Select and institute appropriate nursing interventions to stabilize patient conditions and prevent complications.
  • Contribute to patient assessments and the development of care plans.
Requirements
  • 1-3 years of experience in a long-term care setting preferred.
  • Current LPN licensure in the state.
  • CPR certification.
